Seriously...NO ONE takes PRE-ELECTION POLLS seriously! They're not an indicator on electoral results and anyone that even possesses a modicum of Canadian political knowledge knows that once an election is on, the said pre-election polls are immaterial.

Only partisan hacks that parrot care deeply about these things

And?

Got any real posts? All you can do is ape mine? Back to the corner, troll.

The best part is this poor dumb animal didn't even get my post. Sad.

Another day, another parrot.

After almost six years of continuous election speculation, the public really doesn't share our fixation."

Isn't this exactly the point Mustang's making?

Lol. I was thinking about that. Hey.. Stay on topic. :D

He's also having a fundraising dinner for the common man.. at $550 a plate.

I mentioned in another thread that I took my daughter to a CPC fundraiser and she got to shake hands with the prime minister.. for a wopping $25. Who's selling to the common man and who's influence peddling?

The Liberals need funds more than the Conservatives do.

Definately.. :D
Which party do yyou think is going to be in better touch with the people though?
The one that sells 500 seats at $550 each or the one that sells 1500 at $25 each.
...better still
NDP MP Glenn Thibeault will be holding a $5.50 a plate spaghetti dinner of his own to help support out-of-work miners.

Now THAT'S a cause worth buying dinner for. That's something worth $500/plate.

I agree.. although now tht I look into it, I'm not as happy about it.

" with proceeds going to the United Steelworkers strike fund."
.. still, striking workers need to eat too.

.. meanwhile...

$1:
Ignatieff vows to decide on principle instead of polls; caucus chair admits lack of unanimity and MPs back away from EI reform as three-day meeting kicks off in Sudbury

Who else byt "giggles" taylor could have seriously parroted Liberal party line and said this upcomming election is about principal and not the simple lust for power. They already discounted EI and everything else, saying time and time again that "Canadians don't want an election" yet we'll see them drop the puck if they get a hint that they can win.

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/pol ... le1270965/

.. and of corse this one:

“I don’t think the Liberals will have a lot of support around the issue for 360 [hours]“

-Don Drummond

Let me break the tension...the poll will show that Iggy is an untrustworthy opportunist and would lead this country to ruin. So nobody in their right mind would actually vote for the jerk.

Ignatieff Ignatieff:
“This is a question of principle, not a question of polls,”

Does this guy even believe his own bullshit?

The guy has chickened out from his own principles already and accepted some half-assed EI panel cause polls weren't in his favour.

As my signature used to say "Liberals have principles, and if you don't like those, we have others".
