If the mother has custody, she would be the one to determine what religion the child is raised in. If they share custody, I don't have a good answer for what's best for the child. Maybe we should just pass a law that no child can be raised in any faith. It's all indoctrination and brainwashing. Let them make up their own mind when they are an adult.

Both parents have the right (or should have the right) in the faith they practice. Dad should have as many rights as mom.

A judge has ordered a father to take his children to Roman Catholic mass as part of a divorce settlement, even though he is not Catholic.

Court transcripts seen by The Telegraph show that Judge Orrell discussed his own Catholic faith during the course of the hearing into contact arrangements for Steve’s two sons.
