I have mixed emotions about Bezos but why is he taking all the heat for this? The shipyard is responsible for building a yacht so large that a bridge has to be dismantled to move the ship. What shipyard operates that way? What shipyard would r should ever be allowed to operate like that? This whole fiasco is on the shipyard.

If this yacht was being purchased by some Dutch football player, or some artist singing about his bitches and ho's, or female artist singing about massive anaconda sized cock.......than no one would give a fuck would they? Then all those self righteous assholes would be lining up to take a selfie next to this monstrosity.

Oh, there would still be derision, just not as much as there is for Bezos. But lets be real too, there isn't a musician or footballer alive who even has a fraction of Bezos' money.

I think you can crack the shell, and it will spoil faster. I'm not sure, I discard any egg that looks like it wants to be bad. I have eaten too many bad ones, and don't want that again.

Not the whole fiasco. The shipyard has said they can attach the masts later, so it will fit under the bridge. But Bezos wants the masts installed right away, he doesn't want to wait. So he'll pay to have the bridge disassembled then re-assembled.

And that last part is why he's taking heat... "I don't wanna attach the masts later, I wanna come out of the shipyard in a blaze of glory so I'll flash some money around to get my way."

When you go out of your way to show people you're different better than them, don't be surprised when they treat you differently.
