I saw this (or something like it) on future weapons, very very cool, and as always much better than "stop, stop, stop....OPEN FIRE!"

Yeah, because loading a oncoming vehicle (that may or may not be driven by someone with hostile intentions) with lead is much better than using a non-lethal dazzler.

Area denial. I prefer the "OH MY GOD!! MY SKIN IS ON FIRE!!" beam but this is ok too. I under stand that we did have the gaydar beam but someone from the NDP borrowed it and didn't bring it back.

We can't even afford to keep our own health care working proper...

"...military's lawyers examined the legalities of using the devices on Afghans..."

Indeed, why waste our precious resources on the old when our children are uneducated and uncared for. The only logical course of action is to butcher the healthcare system so no one above child bearing age gets aid and use that money to fund manditory day care and children schooling. The future rests with the yound and we are cutting our own throats pandering to yesterdays men.

I agree with saturn, it seems people just protest things now for the sake of disagreeing with things. Either that or they just dont think shit through before they speak.

I was reading over on ARMY.CA that when a suspicious car started following a road partol too close, they would throw plastic water bottles, rather than warning shots. Some press weenies saw that and the practice was stopped.
That sounded like a classic Canadian soldier make do with nothing solution.

Who was talking about "honour"? We were talking about this non-lethal weapon reducing the amount of unnecessary casualties.
