meh. EKOs is generally reliable and I have no reason to think it's inaccurate. I think this is just the 'bounce' for the Liberals after all the tough election talk. Not much of a bounce and I predict it will just roll steadily downwards from here for the Liberals when it becomes apparent they have no real plan.

I think whichever party promises to lay down the law with the judicial system will win. 14 years for a terrorist, with potential to be out after only five, is an absolute disgrace. Country should have the death penalty for special occasions only, or a minimum 25 year sentace without parole for those who commit or aspire to commit acts of treason or terrorism.

A complete reform of our Criminal Code is really in order. There's been some reforms and consolidations over the years, but there hasn't been a complete overhaul since 1955. It's long overdue. Such a political platform, I suspect, would be very popular with voters.
