For shits and giggles, I took a course in university that studied peace movement since the Crimean War. They brought in a guest speaker that explained how the US military forced its soldiers to watch pornography in boot camp to teach them to hate women. I happened to be sitting to an ex US Marine taking the course with me. Between the pair of us, we rather took the old bitch to task.

No wonder some of the students coming out of that place were fucktards.

After the end of the class in question, I returned and apologised to the professor who admitted she let the individual get a little out of hand... 2 other students and I sat and chatted, one Canadian veteran and one veteran from Central Africa... We shook our heads, went for a pint an laughed.

Between the far left profs and the women's studies crowd, I had a bit of a time at UWO  hahaha But a good time nevertheless.

Now once my CSIS check finally comes back, it'll be Lt. Maldonsfecht of the 1NSH! [B-o]

Me too, the pot head physics teacher and the flower child statistics teacher were able to make those classes interesting... which is mission impossible in most cases.

Not sure if this soldier was packing. If he was, would have been nice if he got off a few rounds before the assailant (in this case likely a terrorist) made his getaway.

If attacks against military personnel in Europe start becoming a trend (hopefully not), then I would strongly advise that they carry their firearms with them at all times when in uniform.

He was on patrol with two others at a train station, so very likely they were packing assault rifles. And between the three of them they were not able to get any shots off. Likely because they are well trained enough not to just fire into a crowd of people unless there is a dire threat.

Update, looks like they got him..

Suspect 'admits soldier knife attack in Paris'

A 21-year-old suspect arrested earlier over the stabbing of a French soldier near Paris on Saturday has admitted to the crime, officials say.

The man, named only as Alexandre, was a convert to Islam who had "wanted to attack a representative of the state", Prosecutor Francois Molins said.

Police arrested the man on Wednesday morning in the Yvelines region, 45km (28 miles) southwest of the capital.

He was traced thanks to evidence left behind at the scene, authorities said.

French anti-terrorist investigators are handling the case.

The stabbing took place three days after the killing of British serviceman Drummer Lee Rigby outside a barracks in the Woolwich area of London.

French President Francois Hollande said that while all theories would be investigated, there was no evidence to link the two attacks.
'Intent to kill'

The suspect, who stabbed the soldier with a "fairly clear intent to kill", had probably acted based on his "religious ideology", Mr Molins told reporters.

The prosecutor said the man was seen on video surveillance camera "saying a Muslim prayer" minutes before the attack.

The suspect had already been known to police for petty crimes, correspondents say.

Maybe those soldiers shouldn't wear their uniforms in public in order to keep the delightful new citizens from getting so upset.

Maybe those soldiers should carry their weapons in public so the delightful new citizens can be properly perforated.

These soldiers were in uniform on anti-terrorist patrol at a railway station. You think they were doing that without weapons?

Plenty of regular Israeli citizens are also armed and they carry fully-automatic concealable weapons.

No big deal over there.
