Shouldn't you be there submitting more of your considered opinion about how they all deserved it for buying quads and big trucks instead of wisely saving for a rainy day the way all the other real Canadians everywhere else do?

I also don't read and then froth here about comments on other sites, nor do I take those comments about indicative of anything, such as the vast left-wing, cornspiracy. If you think those other sites are full of whackos, you should take a step or two back and look at this site. From the CBC? Doubt it. A contract for a media personality is going to have clauses about behavior even if not criminal. He was fired after he proudly showed them a video of him beating up some woman, whether consensual or not.

Doubt if the accusers have too many nickels to rub together, and as somebody pointed out, a civil trial is much more likely to go against Gohmeshi.

CBC says they fired him for cause due to his alleged abuse of staffers at work, not for his private proclivities. If they stick to that defense, as opposed to the Crown attorneys, they'll probably win if it goes to court. Their lawyers are most likely a lot smarter and better prepared than the prosecutors were.
