How freaking old are you and did you sail with Nelson? We were there in 1986 and whenever we took the whaler to go fishing we took along some Sterlings and FNs, to discourage any visitors.

1986...that explains a lot. In the 1970's there were some bad actors out there with DSK's on FAC. Your sterlings and FN's would be a bit out gunned---that's why we used the Bofors---more range than the DSK.
We were not fishing but hunting (patrolling).

we were within sight of the ship, so we weren't really outgunned with 4 3-inch guns close by.
