What did you expect from our gov't? Listen to a motion in Parliament? Listen to Judicial opinions? Hard to do when you're busy licking Uncle Sam's bag, his thighs cover your ears...

How are they "licking uncle sam's bag? Please explain. The motion in parliament means nothing. We still have laws in this country that we should follow.

Explain what? That's about as graphic as you can put it. That's what I figured. The loony left likes to go on and on about our PM being a lapdog to George Bush yet they refuse to explain how or give examples.

He chose to serve and enlisted, he isn't a draft dodger or even a stop loss victim, he's just a coward who deserted.
Justice was served in this case. If he felt the war was immoral or illegal he shouldn't have signed up and since no one put a gun to that thick skull of his the least he could do is take his punishment like a man.
My guess is that after this performance, patriotism wasn't his reason for enlisting. Maybe he figured the $40.000 Army Advantage Fund was like found money and they'd give it to him for being a REMF and staying statside, while his buddies did the fighting and dying.
Either way, I'm sure he'll get what he deserves.

Well I for one is glad he is back in the United States.
He joined the US military willingly, not by a draft.
If he was drafted into the military, and forced to fight for what he does not agree with, that would be entirely different and I would be on Streakers side.
But this coward of a man was willing to join the U.S. Military, get a free education and training at taxpayer expense, but when he has the pay the plate for his free ride he runs from his obligations.
Robin Long is nothing but a Yellow Belly Coward and Welfare Bum stealing money from the U.S. taxpayers.

Robin Long enlisted voluntarily in the US military, which means you swear to defend the flag, the constitution of the US, and go where your CnC says to go and fight.

Glad to see justice being served here. I am amazed that the criminal justice system had the guts to do what was law. They usually cop out. Thumbs up to them for once. Go home do your time for your crime then get on with your life. And find a job with less of a requirement for actually having to do what you are paid to do. Maybe join the city pot hole crews. No diss meant to city pot hole crews.

Now if our Immigration system had some balls/muscle and got rid of the other illigal immigrant thats been hiding out in a temple for a few years now.
Come to this country on false papers and passport you should be held at the airport of entry and then shipped out on the 1st plane back to the country you came from.

I gave someone a positive to cancel out the negative you gave someone else. You shouldn't give out negatives while your rep is off. Doesn't seem very fair does it?
