Let's up-engine the Griffons and maybe sort out that analog cockpit while were at it and see how that goes. The British Lynx is a pretty mean-ass chopper, not to mention the world's fastest and basically the same airframe. So I think we might have some potential here. With the Chinooks in svc to do the heavy lifting, I don't know if we'd need a blackhawk.

We should have bought them (or SuperPumas) in the first place. They were already in production, were a proven item, and are used by a number of NATO allies. The reason we ordered the EH-101s is because the CF wanted them more than either of the other two helos.

C'est la vie I guess. Like they say, hindsight is always 20/20.
