Millions fear it?

I kinda doubt that. I can't see that many people having such an irrational fear. I have never known anyone to have a fear of "Friday the 13th" in anything but a joking manner. Personally, my day was no better or shittier than any other day.

I don't consider myself 'superstitious' by any stretch either. Coincidentally though, it was Friday, November 13, 1992 when I got my hand caught, and badly mangled, in the steering wheel of one of my vans. Ultimately only losing one finger. Yesterday, I worked with table saws and various other power tools all day doing a hardwood flooring job with nary a problem.

In Vaughan, ON, they just announced that you could change the number of your house, for about a $300 fee. Apparently the number 4 is pronounced like the word "death" in Chinese. The Chinese immigrants don't want to tell their friends "Yeah, come on over, I'm at one-twenty-death Cherryhill Lane", so they're lining up like silly to get the 4s out of their addresses.
