I do agree with you that the throwing of the cards wasn't civil or politically correct but this whole incident is a tempest in a teapot that's being blown way out of proportion by a certain segment of society that uses the race card far to often to futher their political goals.

Don't you see what is happening in the USA?

Black Culture, Music, Actors are now more widly accepted, the new target is Hispanics.

They look at all Hispanics as illegals, even if they are 4th and 5th generation American citizens.

What if you played against a Jewish team, and the challenging team members all wore plastic big noses.. would that offend you?

Some people in the states may look at all hispanics as illegals but I'm pretty sure it isn't the majority. As the matter of fact this elitist attitude has been part of American culture for generations. Colour not withstanding look at what the previous immigrants like the:

Jews
Poles
Irish
Russian
Finnish
Lithuanian
Ukranian
Etc Etc Etc

had to put up with before being accepted. Hell America didn't get a Catholic President till 1961 and a Black one till 2009

So if you think about it, it isn't so much about colour as it is about immigration and the percieved notion that anyone who is an immigrant is ruining what the previous people created and illegal ones are percieved as being even worse.
