2Cdo 2Cdo: Hyack Hyack: raydan raydan: Waiting for the Bruins fans to say that this was a perfectly legal hit, there was no intent to hurt and that a lot of players on other teams do worse and don't get suspended. Wait for it, 2Cdo and Pen will be by sooner or later to add their worth. Actually I think it was a good call and personally he should know better as a defenceman. Not quite what you thought eh. sandorski sandorski: It was a Hit. I would say it's not an aggressive Hit, but given his Speed it doesn't matter whether he was being aggressive about it.
And in an earlier thread you defended Lapierre for doing the exact same thing. Typical hypocrite. BINGO, you beat me to that one

I had no idea what your response would be and could honestly care less, but your 2nd comment was true to your form, trying to deflect things by bringing up Lapierre and the Canuck fans. Not deflecting, rather waiting for a Vancouver fan to call out their own player for their actions instead of excuses. If you didn't care about my comment you wouldn't have mentioned me.

raydan raydan: I called it. No you didn't. $1: Waiting for the Bruins fans to say that this was a perfectly legal hit, Didn't say that. $1: there was no intent to hurt Also didn't say that. $1: and that a lot of players on other teams do worse and don't get suspended.
2 out of three wrong, so to quote a hypocritical Vancouver fan, FAIL.

raydan raydan: Damn it!!! I should have used "or" instead of "and". Yes you should have! As an ex defenceman it bothers me watching another defenceman pull a move like this that has injured countless defencemen over the years. I say again, he should have known better.

sandorski sandorski: The 2 are not "the same". How are they not the same? Each pushed the defenceman from behind causing them to crash into the end boards. I look forward to your defence of Lapierre while condemning Ference. Like I said, hypocrite.

I'll wait for Vancouver fans to call out Lapierre for the same shit, but I won't hold my breath. Just to bring us all up to speed, would you mind posting the Lapierre hit for us, I can't recall the play you're talking about and honestly can't remember him being penalized or suspended in the recent past.

LaPierre nudged a player with his hand just above the players butt. It was dangerous and should have been a penalty IMO, but it was so slight that a Ref could easily have missed it.

You are correct, they were not the same, Lapierre did his AFTER the play, not battling for the puck on the forecheck. Far from being a "nudge" it was a deliberate cheap shot from the guy to a guy that was not expecting to be hit. As 2CDO said, it's in the Marchand thread. Ferrence deserved what he got, though IMO and seems how it's been brought up Lapierre's was a more dangerous play

I didn't know you had to be blind to be a Bruins fan. But it does explain a lot of things.

Being blind is exactly what one would want to be given the way the Habs are playing.
Nice comeback Sandorski, well thought out. Actually one of the smarter things you've actually contributed
