You're not supposed to say that out loud.

Did you learn nothing from the "2018: Summer from Hell"

(Not to worry, Martin, I got it. But there are those who are trained not to unless you keep hammering home the obvious until even they get it.")

We are getting great snow in NL too at the moment and I hope it stays until April, unlike last year when we had weird rain all the way thru February. We'll see what we get. To be clear for the n'th time, I don't want climate change but I'm going to listen to what scientists have to tell me rather than relying on my own wishful thinking.

Wife's birthday couple days ago and her regular wish is for no snow til after her birthday. She got it for the first time in over a decade.
By ruling the 1cm of accumulated stuff "didn't count". It's been hovering between -3 and +3 for weeks.
Last year at this time she discovered that if you back up her AWD Saturn Vue, it jams the snow underneath and it gets high-centered. Drove her to work in the Wrangler and pulled her out with a tow-strap. Flagged down a neighbour using her Bobcat to do her driveway and damned if it didn't get stuck in my driveway too! (Bet the Wrangler could pull a mobile home off it's pad in Low Range Reverse!)

People are having trouble getting into their Tesla model 3's during Snow-vember in the North East.

Tesla "Fixes" Cold Weather Issues With Vague Software Update, Causes More Problems

$1:
You may recall our report from last week detailing how Model 3 vehicles were experiencing significant issues as a result of the cold weather making its way through the Northeast. Among the issues we documented were Tesla owners – including pro-Tesla blogger Frederic Lambert himself - unable to get into their vehicles and some owners complaining of not being able to access their charge ports. Lambert documented his own issues in this hilarious video, where he, bare-handedly in Quebec, can't get into his own car:

Zerohedge alleges global warming irony with Elon Musk being a raging Warmiac. I would never make such an allegation myself, of course, because as everybody knows weather is not climate.

(Except during the 2018 'Summer from Hell,' of course. )

A car designed in Commiefornia has trouble in Quebec ?
How is that possible ?

70's Jap econoboxes rusting out

80's euro diesels that won't start in winter

And now this.

You would think people would have learned by now.... nope.

Hundreds of flights canceled as Midwest braces for snowstorm

$1:
CHICAGO (AP/Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A winter storm blanketed much of the central Midwest with snow on Sunday at the end of the Thanksgiving weekend, bringing blizzard-like conditions that grounded hundreds of flights and forced the closure of major highways on one of the busiest travel days of the year.

“It’s going to be messy,” said Todd Kluber, a meteorologist for the National Weather Service who is based in suburban Chicago.

With much of the central plains and Great Lakes region under blizzard or winter storms warnings, roughly 600 flights headed to or from the U.S. had been canceled as of 2 p.m. Sunday, according to the flight-tracking website FlightAware...

Remember: Record cold is just weather.

Record heat is absolute and indisputable PROOF of global warming which can only be solved by surrendering our rights to a socialist global nanny state.

Except during what I like to mockingly call the '2018: 'Summer from Hell' a period during which no week was complete without another tedious reminder here at CKA that somewhere in the world there was some sort of 2 day heat wave - the repetition a strident call of "Heat in the summer, OMG, global warming, we're all gonna die!"

Well, like we tried to tell you back then and what can give some of us a smile today...

That's the great thing about this time of year. We get to remind the warmiacs that yes, it gets hot in the Summer. But it gets cold in the winter too.

They are not listening. Save your fingers some work.

Time to move on to causes that are achievable.
