Tasers, yes. I can buy a cattle prod at the UFA, but using it on anything but cattle means jail time. And they are a meter long, so not really concealable. Importing one is illegal.

Same with pepper spray, you can get it at camping stores as 'bear spray', but using it on people means trouble. If you import one of the little 'pocket spray' cans, it's also illegal.

Pepper Spray can be a great self defense when being attacked. Not all people are effected by it. Still works well in most cases.
