You underestimate the patience of the average Canadian as much as you overestimate the resolve of natives in general. They may have it tough in places, but natives in general know which side of their bread is buttered - and a general uprising to bring Canada to a screeching halt, which is nothing more than silly forum posturing by internet idiots, will not happen.

Sadly, natives can do little more than talk tough and win some insignificant little victories here and there that annoy the hell out of Canadians, but are meaningless enough not to provoke the federal government.

They know deep down that they are safe with their low level domestic terrorism including roadblocks and minor occupations, and that lack of moral courage ensures, unfortunately, that they will do nothing to provoke a government intervention.

I have listened to their side, and have seen the roadblocks, occupations, intimidation, and rampant criminal behaviour by a few thugs. I'm in no way interested in coming to the table under those conditions anymore than I'm interested in hearing yet again another round of whining over their lot in life. As has been pointed out endlessly in these types of threads, people came to this country from far worse conditions and were given far less to make something of themselves, and as should come as no surprise, they made out alright.

The best thing is to cut them off and force them to make something of themselves. Our apartheid light has failed, and the natives, oddly enough, are the ones that want it to keep going.
