If you had a track record of being harsh on criminals and punishment, I could agree but you have exactly the opposite. This sudden change is very unusual for you.
I don't think you ever got what my stance is.
I don't give a fuck about criminals, who are sentenced and had a fair trial. This guy was sentenced, had a fair trial (or at least that is what I am assuming, no one questioned that before), and was sentenced to 95 years in jail. Not 95 months, 95 YEARS. Why the hell would he be eligable for parole in the first place anyway? That was mistake #1. He had had NO counseling, and he was just let out. Anyone surprised he did something bad again? Of course not. He was set free AGAIN.
I am sorry, but 4 people are dead, a 12 year old girl raped, because mistake after mistake was made. And no one should be held accountable?
Polanski, as far as I am concerned, can go back in jail too, as you know. So where is my "softness" for convicted criminals? And that is the bottom line. CONVICTED.
The asshole of Fort Hood, 13 people dead. Please don't ever let him go free. We all know he is guilty. What I don't agree with tho, is that his faith was taken into account. As far as I am concerned, that moron snapped.
THIS moron didn't snap. Everybody involved, everyone with knowledge could have known this would happen.
