And I love it when they tell me "Windoze says" 255.255.255.192 is not a valid netmask...
I gave up trying to teach subnetting, out of 50 students I only had a couple who understood. One guy said "who cares" I'll just wait for IPv6.
Is that why modern programmers can't do RAM allocation properly? People got tired trying to teach it?
We's got oodles of ram, who needs allocation.
They should be given a course in machine code with only 64K to play with, less the ram allocated to the OS, device drivers, etc.
