This is terrible, the guy's licence is suspended. Now he can't drive AND he can't hitchhike.

Not a fan of vigilante justice, also the guy who assaulted Richard Suter seems to be a much bigger POS.

Yeah, I'm havin' a hard time working up any sympathy for ol' "Stumpy" there. Losing a thumb is hardly a comparison to the carnage drunk drivers cause on the roads every year.

Pinned a 2 year old to a concrete wall with his SUV after crashing through a glass wall.

The kid died later in hospital.

Compared to what I imagine this kid went through, he hasn't suffered yet.

He won't. He pled guilty today of refusing to give a breath sample.

What the hell man!!! He pleads guilty to the least of the charges and they drop the most serious charges against him? Wow....just...wow.

Is it possible he was not actually drunk?

'Failure to provide' carries a similar penalty to manslaughter. So he's not really getting off. They would have had to plead it out if they couldn't prove impairment.

Justice sucks, but it's better than the alternative.

Manslaughter has a range from no prison to life, doubt that failure to provide does. I would also be surprised that failure to provide usually results in the same length of prison term as manslaughter.
