As described, the flyer is hysterical. The belief "Terrorism is a real and serious issue" is not. It's a rational concern.

There's no hypocrisy in rejecting one and endorsing the other.

And speaking of "faux journalism" - that's some pretty cheap craft there Vancouver Sun, when you're insinuating in the opening sentence Watts had something to do with writing the flyer, but later you admit she disavows it.

Basically the sun is calling Watts a liar without offering evidence.

I wish Zip was around. I'd like to revisit his belief the Vancouver Sun is not biased left.

$1:
Watts, abashed, at least initially, went into damage control. On Tuesday, she insisted the flyer was a product of the national campaign and not hers.

But by Wednesday, Watts, on the road to Ottawa in this case, not Damascus, had undergone a miraculous conversion. She embraced the party line that the day before she had held at arm’s length.

“Terrorism is a real and serious issue,” she said. “The violence that has been inflicted on the families, the children and the people of Syria and Iraq cannot go unanswered. I decided to run for the Conservative Party because they are the only party that has taken a stand against this type of violence and terrorism.”

Really? This is what you call disavowing it? Sounds like she had a talking to. She's not used to following the party line because she ran the show in Surrey, she was the party line. Time for an attitude adjustment if the Cons return to power.

And is the issue here only what Watts thinks about this, or is it the bullshit the party, ie Steveo, is slinging? So if JT gets into power we'll have brothels and injection sites at every corner and jihadis under every bed. Be very afraid. At least you'll be able to buy pot at the corner store (right next to the brothel) so go home and relax. Until you go to bed, at least. "Good night, Ahmed." "Good night, Kafir."

The Sun makes some insinuations and you like those insinuations Andy, so you call them fact.

They insinuate flyers were spread throughout Surrey. As you know Surrey is a big place. I've neither seen nor heard evidence of such fliers spread throughout Surrey and I'm not far away. For all I know some radical hired by the federal campaign rather than Watts campaign printed up some fliers in South Surrey where the progs hang out, and slipped some fliers behind car windshields in some shopping centre above White Rock beach.

Perhaps some SJW saw one, had the vapors and after her friends revived her, she passed off some emails to the horde and created a campaign.

That is just as credible as what is said in the Sun and supports Watts argument. But I'm on the Right. The Sun is on the Left. That's the only difference.

A campaign mailout sent to homes in the riding of South Surrey—White Rock by Conservative candidate Dianne Watts, is being called absurd and fear mongering.

The flyer shows a newspaper headline taken from the National Post reading "ISIS Urges Jihadists To Attack Canadians", with a highlighted quote "You Will Not Feel Secure In Your Bedrooms".

On the reverse side, Watts is pictured below a line reading "We Will Fight Jihadist Terrorists At Home And Abroad."

Conservative party headquarters in Ottawa sent out the flyer on behalf of a number of candidates including Watts and Erinn Broshko, who is running in the riding of Vancouver Granville.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-c ... -1.3240629

Just one flyer under a windshield, huh? Guess that SJW forged Watts' pic and used parliamentary mail to distribute them.

1. Watts can't disavow something she attaches her pic to.

2. We all seem to be in agreement that it's a federal effort - a federal fearmongering effort that Watts agrees with.

Any more FiddleDogshit you want to squeeze out?

OK Andy I was going to try to start taking it easy on you cause you know, it's not cool to pick on the "special kids", but as usual Progs and Jihadis interpret mercy as weakness, so there'll be no more of that.

So let's have a look at your "evidence" then, shall we.

You fucking moron. Can you honestly not tell that your "evidence" proves me, Watts, and even the feds right, and you, as usual, spectacularly wrong.

First of all I was right in suspecting it was going to be the corner of Surrey called South Surrey-White Rock. I called that one. The regressive liar at the Sun insinuated it was throughout all of Surrey which is a much, much larger thing, with larger implications. South Surrey-White Rock is, as I said, a little corner where the Progs hang out.

The shopping centre thing I wrote about would be obvious to anybody but a semi-literate idiot as poetic license, hyperbole, almost a metaphor for "Prog Country". My imaginary offended person who had seen the flyer and fainted was at the shops you see. No not real shops, you over-literal, regressive nincompoop.

And it turns out what was actually in the flier was not what the purple prose of the Vancouver Sun lefty screamed about.

Here's his hysteria:

$1:
Be afraid, the message was. Be very afraid. Jihadist bogeymen could be hiding under your bed at this very moment, and only Conservatives, and not those milquetoast Liberals or NDPers, can root them out. The stark choice as defined by Watts’ flyer? It’s either us or bed-wetting and blood

But wait not even his fellow lefties at the CBC can back him up on that whopper.

Turns out there were no "Jihadis under beds" in the flyer as promised by the Sun "bed-wetter". There was only talk of the very real problem of Jihadi terror in this place you and he are unfamiliar with, but the rest of us call reality,

Apparently all that flyer was, was a quoted title and a line from a National Post article. There was a picture of Dianne Watts and a vow of "We Will Fight Jihadist Terrorists At Home And Abroad."

Good for you whoever you are. I'm with you.

Now Andy, apparently you and a small coterie of your fellow clowntards think there's something objectionable in that. Good for you. Fill your boots. Run throw the streets. Tell the rest of Surrey how Dianne Watts doesn't approve of terrorism and somebody quoted a National Post article to get that point across.

Oh and I almost forgot. It turns out according to your 'smokin gun' evidence that Dianne Watts was absolutely 100% correct when she said the flier was sent out by Conservative party headquarters in Ottawa.

And your point was? [huh]

Numbskull. [laughat]

the usual FDshit. What part of number of candidates don't you understand? YOu're desperately clutching at straws here.

Ah, you have license to hyperbole, but let Pete McMartin write Surrey instead of south surrey (never mind all the other ridings it was mailed to) and you think you have a point. YOu've gone nosebling to your own FDshit.

Liar? About what?

I find nothing objectionable or even untrue in that flyer sent out from Conservative party headquarters to districts such as Dianne Watts. It's a reasonable quote from the National Post.

Apparently the only problem was flyers went to a "Progressive" flavored corner of a Conservative district, and there was reaction from the perpetually outraged.

But this activated a reactionary bed-wetter at the Vancouver Sun, because when you say Jihadi to a regressive, they hear "Islamaphobe". Then there was the domino effect. The next thing you know psychos are pulling out there running naked through the streets of the internet, so to speak, screaming "To arms! To Arms! Dianne Watts said something nasty about Jihadis!" [cry]

Even Watts knew this was shameful and tried to disassociate herself from it, until she got a spanking by Steveo.

andyt andyt:

In your nutty little numb skull maybe.

Here's what she actually said:

$1:
“I think that people deliver messages in different ways and they have different styles. I have not used that style. The national campaign has used that and some people will align with that and some people will align with the messaging that I have.”

Sounds reasonable to me. I don't hear any shame there.

Nothing has changed in her platform as far as I can see. She still says:

$1:
“Terrorism is a real and serious issue. ISIS has clearly declared Canada as a target for terrorism.”

Both perfectly reasonable, reality-based points.

You and yours are trying too hard to manufacture an issue where there isn't one. As a result you're just sounding more and more desperate. If anybody need do to be ashamed it's y'all.
