Or, you could be like Albertans, and slow the f-k down during pothole season. If your frame was bent, you are going too fast.

Here, here. The local talk radio show is full of nothing but old people whowear their pants up to their nipples (i.e. Conservatives) whining that the government didn't do anything during the recent snow, like a city like Vancouver is supposed to keep a million ploughs in reserve.

Interesting - here, here - in Ottawa that is - you can hear the wailing and the gnashing of false toothypegs - Liberals natch - as they stumble along with their trousers and hose around their ankles, constantly bent over tyring to pull them up before anyone notices - complaining they can't locate the troughs due to the volume of snow; sigh! a sad state of affairs. if ever there was one. . . .

Yes, it's a rather unflattering trait that Candian share. They expect the government to do everything for them. The government is more than happy to accomodate, naturally.

How come that living in the sticks, pothole after pothole, that does NOT get repaired because all the BC money goes to the Lower Mainland, hasn't damaged my car? We are glad when the first snow falls and doesn't go away anytime soon. Finally all the potholes are filled!

We have avalanches, closed passes, trains derailing blocking the bordercrossing, trucks that cannot supply grocerystores, milktrucks that are stuck...
Sorry, I didn't know the LM was SOOOO much better... You have morons defending a tank of gas, with the result that the whole province has to pay before pumping, while the sticks hardly have crap like that. We have unlocked front doors, unlocked cars, and never anything stolen.
Ya think our schools closed with snowfall? Don't think so either... We do have people drown in the Columbia River though... Do we get money now to place a couple of more dams, to prevent it from streaming so fast?

Drive here for a chance. You will never bitch about potholes in the LM again.
I can't believe you pull the "I'm here longer than you, so shut the f*ck up" card...

Potholes are bad everywhere, I don't think it's a regional thing. We bitch about them in PG because it seems like the mayor couldn't be bothered to fix them. Now in the winter we bitch because it takes a week to get a plow down your road in the middle of town. Except now if you buy a truck to go over the potholes or through the snow, the Premier Gordon Drunky Campbell punishes you with a carbon tax.

Well, its not that hard to get that "attitude". When you are being told regularly that services are not "serviced" here, because the funding is not sufficient, your kids get denied ESL classes, because the funding isn't there, potholes haven't been filled for ever, and you read a story about the "bad weather and closed schools due to snowfall" while we have had an average of a ft a day... Don't ya think it is pretty easy to think the LM is kinda... whining about nothing?
You think I was used to snow? Not really. Do you hear me bitch about it? Not really. Shit happens.
