Excellent. This is what I thought the shifty promise Iggy gave meant. He said they wouldn't enter a coalition with any federalist party, and they would not enter any agreement with the Bloc..

So NDP candidates will probably drop out where a tight race is expected, to avoid a Reformacon from winning. I suspect this is why I live in Winnipeg Centre and I can't even find out how to get a lawn sign. They'll bow out to let Pat Martin have the seat.

I am not sure that is the agreement. Layton stated they would have a new candidate in 48 hours. If he is true to his word then it returns the staus quo to the London riding. On the other hand the NDP replacement candidate will have a difficult time overcoming the bad press this will generate.
