TEPEACA, Mexico (AP) -- Gasoline thieves are out of control in Mexico, tapping into pipelines in broad daylight often with the support of local townsfolks and under the noses of authorities.

Saw something about this on the news awhile back and while it looks to be a lucrative crime system they said alot of these people end up immolating themselves and their friends when they go to tap into the pipeline or when they're transporting thousands of gallons of gasoline to market in their converted Plymouth Voyager.
