A lot of people were pissed. O.J. would have received a severely stiff sentence if he had been convicted of jaywalking. Rumor has it that all the victims that were advocating for his release at his last hearing stand to gain financially when he is released. People that have won judgments against him have not received a dime. He is looking at a big payday for signing off for a movie deal that is already in the works. The Victims can finally be paid, but O.J. had to be released first.
