The provincial government wants to designate distracted driving as a high-risk driving behaviour under the ICBC Driver Risk Premium program.

    Not enough IMO but it's a start. Maybe the message to PUT THE DAMN PHONE DOWN while driving will get through to more people.

    Problem is just using those touchscreens in your vehicle to set temperature and stereo settings is bad enough too.
