Stolen van driver gets life sentence for revenge killing

I'm torn on this one. On one side i'm glad the thieving asshole Steven Doyle is no longer a threat to the general public. But, by the same token you can't just go around running people over especially if you're a Muslim.

Apparently it's bad form.

As for the life sentence. That's bullshit, you don't pass out life sentences based on the fact the accused "smirked" in court. You pass them out for the proven killing of good honest upright citizens which Doyle obviously wasn't. And, just because he ran over some other people in an escape attempt doesn't count because he's only being tried for the Doyle killing. Sentence him for that and then try him again for the other van instances but you can't lump them together.

This was a case of unbridled rage and if Doyle hadn't been a thief and apparently a bully he wouldn't be dead right now and his kids wouldn't be fatherless although, they're probably better off without him.


BTW, why wasn't Doyle arrested for the assault.

Going by the mugshots this was clearly a scum-vs-scum encounter. And society is far better off with one of them gone forever and the other one off to prison until he's an old man. Looks like a win-win all around.

Two idiots get in a fight.

One guy wins and steals the loser's watch.

Loser guy walks up the street jumps in a stolen van, drives back and smashes into the guy who beat him up killing him.

Then, why the fuck was he out participating in fight club? If our justice system let him out on appeal or whatever they're just as culpable for Doyle's death as this piece of crap.

I'll assume that the early release or suspended sentence than got that mutt back on the streets way too early was simply a result of the always entertaining retard bingo that happens far too often in Canadian courts with dangerous criminals.
