Nope, people care about this guy because he's a walking talking one man criminal enterprise whose dossier reads more like an entire season of the Soprano's than just some lawyer who defended a porn star.
People are always interested when a lawyer is getting his nuts crushed by the same legal system he once used to abuse others. Besides, it just reinforces peoples opinion that all lawyers are nothing more than used car salesmen with better suits and less morals.
