So, apparently it can be done.
Finally.
So, apparently it can be done.
And all it took was a pandemic. Sheesh. Long overdue and must be kept in place once the pandemic is over. These are US citizens trying to sneak into our country fps. If you won't use the legal border crossings then you have absolutely no business or reason to enter our country.
Funny how everyone was welcome until the PM's wife caught a nasty virus. Now something absolutely has to be done. Anyone complaining about the illegal hoard crossing the border before the Mrs. got sick was a racist, alt right xenophobic.
Trudeau did the right thing, and is doing a decent job right now. I'm not even joking.
It's too easy to slam the guy, and under normal circumstances, I probably would. But just like our politicians, I've also put partisan nonsense aside, and will give credit where credit is due. It might have taken longer than we'd all liked, but at least he's getting things done now.

I'm going to shock everyone with the following statement:

Same. He's doing the best anyone could under the circumstances. I also credit the opposition parties for shutting up too for the most part and not playing politics right now. I also think that Jason Kenney here in Alberta has grown into the job because he's concentrating 100% on the epidemic - the only one's here acting like it's politics as usual are the rats at the SUN papers and the usual shitheads in the comments section.
So there are some bright spots here and there. Much better than in the US where it's the usual gong-show. When the death toll runs amok down there it won't be because of a lack of capability to fight the illness. The US has all the resources necessary in this situation. It'll be because too many of them (even in the face of Armageddon, as Rorshach in Watchmen put it) refuse to ever put the ideology on hold.
It's pretty much by the numbers right now. Better managed countries have showed him what needs to be done. All he has to do now is step in line and check the boxes.
It may be a stroke of luck for Canada that his wife got sick, because he's finally realized there's a problem and is doing what everybody else did.
Its absolutely retarded to think his wife getting sick had anything to do with it. Its not like she would ever come into contact with them. Besides shes now immune to catching it again.
Somebody on this forum just recently posted:
Stop your whining that you don't have anything to whine about because the government is helping.
Seriously, what won't these guys whine about.
Guess who that was? Hint:
It seems completely lost on some people that he had to negotiate this deal with Trump.
Should have been done a long time ago.
Nobody said he did. Some of us can't help noticing the obvious though. In general Justin's reaction to the pandemic was slow until his wife got sick. Noticing the wife connection is more just snark but you still notice.
Because yeah, back in February Justin was telling us closing our borders, like other countries were doing would be racist now, apparently, it's not.
And again, the obvious point you're missing is that if Roxham road can be closed now it could have been closed all along.
He hasn't got rid of bilingualism or the metric system either. The bastard! It must be a plot!
Nevertheless, what we now know is it can be done.
