This is unacceptable.
I would have reverted back to my Ukranian tounge in 75 if I knew this.
to the clubs i'll never get in
It's like the bottom of the ninth
and I'm never gonna win
This life hasn't turned out
quite the way I want it to be
(tell me what you want
I want a brand new house
on an episode of Cribs
And a bathroom I can play baseball in
And a king size tub big enough
for ten plus me
(yeah,so what you need)
I'll need a, a credit card that's got no limit
And a big black jet with a bedroom in it
Gonna join the mile high club
At thirty-seven thousand feet
(Been there done that)
I want a new tour bus full of old guitars
And my own star on Hollywood Boulevard
Somewhere between cher and
James Dean is fine for me
(So how ya gonna do it?)
I'm gonna trade this life for fortune and fame
I'd even cut my hair and change my name
'Cause we all just wanna be big rockstars
Live in hilltop houses driving fifteen cars
The girls come easy and the drugs come cheap
We'll all stay skinny cause we just won't eat
And we'll hang out in the coolest bars
In the VIP with the movie stars
Every good gold digger's
Gonna wind up there
Every Playboy bunny
with her bleach blonde hair
and well..
Hey hey I wanna be a rockstar
Hey hey I wanna be a rockstar
I wanna be great like Elvis without the tassels
Hire eight body guards that love to beat up assholes
Sign a couple autographs
So I can eat my meals for free
(I have a quesadilla... on the house)
I'm gonna dress my ass
with the latest fashion
Get a front door key to the Playboy mansion
Gonna date a centerfold that loves to
blow my money for me
(So how ya gonna do it?)
I'm gonna trade this life
For fortune and fame
I'd even cut my hair

Gonna wind up there
Every Playboy bunny
with her bleach blonde hair
And we'll hide out in the private rooms
With the latest dictionary
in today's who's who
We'll get you anything
with that evil smile
Everybody's got a
drug dealer on speed dial
well..
Hey hey I wanna be a rockstar
I'm gonna sing those songs
that offend the censors
Gonna pop my pills
from a pez dispenser
Get washed-up singers writing all my songs
Lip sync 'em every night so I don't get 'em wrong
Well we all just wanna be big rockstars
Live in hilltop houses driving fifteen cars
The girls come easy and the drugs come cheap
We'll all stay skinny cause we just won't eat

Sorry, can't understand you, you're off the hook, on your way now.
Great job by Canadian judges as usual. Next time, speak in an accent, you'll get off. Dumb fuckfaces.
I wasn't aware the Canadian constitution had immediate interpreters for Spanish speaking people according to their rights....ooops?
Basically what it is saying is that he can do whatever he wants because people can't understand him?
if so, legal languages in Canada are English and French, and there should have been no problem.
landed immigrant.. same situation.
a tourist.. maybe he should announce he needs help.
very bad decision by the judge, this should be appealed.
If you live in a foreign country, you live by their language... i do.
since 1993.. so he is a citizen ??

Go to Nunavut and see how far English takes you, better learn French,or inuktitut.
First there man.

Go to Nunavut and see how far English takes you, better learn French,or inuktitut.
ok, you can say the same for Trois Rivieres...
or try speaking french in Nanaimo
point is we are dealing with English and French

Untill you get north of Churchill, then it"s french or Inuktitut.
I have been living in Slovakia for 7-8 years now.
I was able to cry " i am a stupid tourist " for a couple of years..
until I got a Slovak driver's license.. now the police can say, well if you can speak enough Slovak for this, you can speak Slovak with me.. rightly so.
until i got a legal resident permit.. now, even the courts can say, well if you have this, you can deal with the system in Slovak.
until i opened my company in Slovakia.. i can tell you noone, and i mean NOONE speaks English down at the tax office
fact is, i am here.. and i deal with the system in Slovak.
This guy has been in Canada since 1993, longer than Ive ben gone.
He was arrested in English.. an official language.
If he didnt understand, it is HIS obligation to ask for some help..
If the police tried to arrest him in Ukranian, i would say NO.. that
language has no jurisdiction in Canada, and the charges should be thrown out.
I think this boy has been in Canada long enough to learn the system.
The judge made the wrong decision.. Spanish has no standing in Canada.. the case should be appealed or there will be many more cases like this.
I could make an allowance for a tourist, but not for someone who has lived in Canada for 15 years.. no way
(yeah, I know, but this just pisses me off...)
