Welcome to Africa, any day, any week, any year, anywhere. I know it sounds callous, but no one cares for the simple reason that no matter how much help they get get, nothing ever improves.....and I speak from experience in Somalia. Humans have been fleeing that place(Africa) since we came into being there, and for good reason.

Forgive me, but I don't care. Africans kill each other all the time, they starve each other for political reasons, they carry out pissy little tribal vendettas all the time, and they constantly support governments who make Colombian drug cartels look like responsible members of the community.

There is nothing we can do for Africa.

Africa must find her own solutions or die.

Either way, it is not my problem and I adamantly oppose any US involvement in Africa.

I had the good fortune of meeting Bishop desmond TUTU.

I recall he remarked that civilization is a thin veneer in any society.

My view is that the civilized veneer in Africa is so thin it is transparent.

Oh, yes, you can apply this to any number of places. I'm sorry, but I just don't give a rip anymore about the rest of the world. If we don't help them, they hate us. If we do help them, they hate us.

It's easier not to help them.

Oh I get your point, but have you ever considered we are cause and not the solution to the problems in Africa?

Yes I hate GW but that isnt the point of my comment either, all I am saying is, is that it doesnt matter how developed the country is people will always die for greed whether it is personal or national!!!
