VANCOUVER -- A report to federal Health Minister Tony Clement indicates drug injections at a safe-injection facility in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside account for less than five per cent of all injections in the notorious neighbourhood.
mmmaaannnn, I have such an issue with these safe-injection, needle exchange programs. I know exactly why these this were set up, but it is such a doubble edged sword. Your protecting the person from HIV....while enabeling them to continue to destroy themselves with drugs......
I say we take a Darwinian stance on this, heavy drug users/recidivist drug users are a blight on society, they are keeping our society back from advancing, therefore extermination is the only way. instead of a needle, a bullet would be much appropriate to take care of both the drug problem and the HIV problem (Only in this situation can it serve the HIV problem). No more druggies, no more petty crime, no more dirty needles, no more drug dealers.....can you say win, win, win, win?
