Rogers Communications Inc. has thrown a bone to potential iPhone customers by offering a limited-time promotional data rate plan that should silence complaints about Canadian pricing for the eagerly-anticipated device.

    Pisses me off that this damned phone gets so much attention from the media - both CBC and CTV television had reports on it this morning. Are they paying for advertising?

    I heard that Mac has shipped most of the Iphones to Europe and will not be selling any at their Apple stores here in Canada as a signal to their displeasure over Rogers pricing.

    The going to Europe is not true,wont be selling it in apple stores is true, has been confirmed by both apple and rogers

    I was in Toronto this weekend and was listening about this on talk radio the hosts seemed to be upset that Rogers was buckling down to US company. How childish and stupid is that?

    well i got the 6 gig for $30.00 yesterday morning :-)

    after my vip discount it's 23.00 a month. you can even teather to a computer if you have a real phone.(read not the iphone)

    I find it funny how the rest of the world is just catching up. My phones have been blowing away the iphone for oh about 4 years now.

    The 16G I-Phone sold out, but people were so desperate to have an I-Phone they settled for the 8G. So when the 16G is in stock those people who couldn't wait are screwed! :lol:
