How people can serve man's best friend on a plate next to noodles is beyond me...
What's the problem with people eating things that others would never eat.
Porc, dogs, seafood, cats, frog legs, rats, insects, testicles, brain....
I'm sure that we can add quite a few more items to this list.
I have a cousin who would never touch horse meat and I absolutely love it.
I've tried everything in the above list except cats, dogs and rats and that's just because I've never had the opportunity.
I've even eaten jellyfish and chicken feet.
Live, let live and tolerance, as long as they're not cannibals or eating endangered species.
Ther are alot of other things they eat in China that seem weird to us, varieties of deep fried insects, Dog Brain soup, Grubs and sea snakes. While all are gross to us, it's everyday fare for them.
Different strokes for different folks.
Just my 2cents
It dosent go both ways. I dont name my cheese or take it for a walk. This is sick, who the hell in there right mind eats a dog????. Culture or not its sickiening to me.

Dog in Asia is treated the same way as cows/pigs here, raised on farms. It's not like you bring Fido in for dinner and go home with only a leash. What's the difference between a cow or pig and a chicken? Not much IMHO, yet most of us seem fine eating one and not the other. Jules from Pulp Fiction might disagree with me though...
I've never eaten dog for the record, but I have nothing against those who want to. I've got Korean friends who swear it is the best meat on the planet. To me, a dog is just a smaller pig/cow/chicken.

Maybe you can appreciate how vegetarians feel now.
has been eaten, at one time or another, by some other species.
In Japan, they make fun of Koreans and Chinese for eating dog,
but are not repulsed by the practise.
Besides I've eaten raw horse in Japan, and some pretty weird
things from the ocean.

Lol Im not against people who want to eat it, I just think its disgusting thats all. The difference is that cows and pigs and chicken are raised for that a purpose, a dog is not raised to be eaten in asia as far as I know but based on what your saying perhaps I am incorrect. Do they have "Dog Farms" in Asia?

Dont even get me started on vegetarians, what a joke. Goat is not mans best friend! and did you, from day one, bread that goat to eat? as we do cows and chickens and pigs? No you didnt.
