Regina father concerned as medal ceremony postponed

Ottawa may be reconsidering the criteria it uses to award a new Sacrifice Medal, a move that is of particular interest to a Regina family of a soldier killed by accidental shooting in Afghanistan.

The proposed changes are to amend the eligibility criteria to include accidents and changing the retroactive date to include those who served in WWII.
