Listeners to the Jeff O'Neil Show on 99.3 The FOX (CFOX-FM) Tuesday were surprised to hear none other than Vancouver Mayor Sam Sullivan co-hosting the open-phones segment of the show and announcing an upcoming official proclamation that Nov. 28 is AC/DC D

    March 14 Steak and Beach Day suggestion, a Valentine's Day-type celebration for guys that was met with a firm no. Sullivan says some of the other suggestions were worse.


    Ummm...the suggestion was not steak and beach day it was steak and bj day...geeezzz get the reporting right :lol:

    AC/DC died in 1980.. It's been a tribute band ever since. :lol:

    Seriously, AC/DC have spent a lot of time and money in Vancouver so they deserve it. Also, we should change the name of this town to Terminal City. Sounds cooler. Although after teh Madonna concert the other night, I was downtown adn thought the name shouyld be chnaged to Vancougar.

    I disagree. Sure Bon Scott rocked but the young brothers are pretty much the band.

    Terminal City for sure...maybe Sammy boy can change the name before he gets booted out of Van XD
