OTTAWA Canada should either buy more Cormorant search-and-rescue helicopters or cut back on inspections in the existing fleet to meet the life-saving role the aircraft was originally expected to perform, says a new report.
I'm not sure of that story. It sounds like the ammount and duration of the tests are a problem. Arn't these tests at the recomendation of the manufacturer or are we just stripping them apart because we're bored and have shiney new toys?
Sounds like this is a real lemon...maybe we dodged a bullet in not buying the EH-101s. Of course, the Liberals still should have gotten off their lazy asses in ordering a replacement...10 years to decide on the Cyclone was totally ridiculous.
Where is helicopter repair man when you need him.
