An Air Canada co-pilot who suffered an apparent breakdown during a transatlantic flight earlier this year was replaced in the cockpit by a flight attendant before an emergency landing was attempted, according to a report released today by Irish authoritie

    If she had a commercial license, what is the problem? Even if she hadn't, she was there when she needed to be, doing the things needed to be done. I think it is fantastic!

    What I find disturbing is the actually co-pilot having a breakdown in mid flight. Kudos to the flight attendant for stepping up to the plate...but still a freaking breakdown 8O
