Only shock, resentment and bitterness can follow U.S. President Barack Obama's uncritical account of Islam as having contributed "so much for so many centuries to the betterment of the world." Whatever the contributions of Islam may be, they are tainted w

I thought Obama was a Muslim apostate (an ex-Muslim who converted to another religion) which in Islam is given the death penalty?

a city illustrating both Islam's aggression and its relentlessness

The article lost me right here. First you post an article trying to drum up fear, now one trying to create hatred. This may apply to the extremists, but try saying this to the face of the average muslim walking down the street. Way to stereotype Tritium.

He's not, nor was he ever a muslim. That was just a lie circulated to fool the feeble minded.

No, I think you're wrong there. He converted to Christianity when he moved to America.

There is nothing wrong with being Muslim, or Christian or whatever.

What struck me as odd is apostasy in Islam is very bad. I am amazed how he is so openly accepted under those cercumstances.

I will give him this, he is very knowledgeable about faiths because of his diverse education and upbringing.

My personal doctor is Muslim and I trust him over any other, he is the best.

We get it, tritium. You hate Obama, you hate Muslims. Don't spam the board with fifty new threads on the topic.

No Zipperfish, hate Obama no, dislike intensely yes.

As I said, no dislike of Muslims... you are very wrong there. I think the teachings of Islam are a little warped and their forms of punishment from the dark ages.

Individual Muslims may or may not take pride in Islam's violent past, but that reality must be acknowledged. Terrorists who state that their inspiration comes from Islam relentlessly stalk the weak, the innocent, the defenseless.

I love how this article goes after Islam, but conveniently forgets atroceties commited by Christians and Jews as if they didnt happen.

All organized religon is bad!! Anytime you are told what to think and how to think it, it is bad. Even the military doesnt require that kind of blind devotion!!

When I was invited in my boss's place(a Muslim from Sudan),I was pleasantly surprised as to how wrongly we tend to stereotype Muslims. He offered me a beer(surprise#1),then when I met his wife, she wore makeup and a short skirt(an even bigger surprise) and by judging her I think my boss would've got a good kick in the crotch had he tried to make her wear a burka. The Muslims who chant 'death to America' I equate with the redneck members of World Wide White Pride.Very uneducated people and it especially rings true when you see how the majority of Islamic countries are basically 3rd world banana republics and the Muslims there know only what they consider to be detrimental about the western nations since that's what their leaders want them to think. But this doesn't let Christianity off the hook that easily. If some extremely charismatic Christian pastor who had a thorough knowledge of the 'right' biblical passages(by right I mean what served his agenda),peppered with some creativity and imagination and a lot of fanaticism and selective hatred he could no doubt launch some very potent hate campaigns against gays, those who practice abortions...well you get the idea.Any organized religion has that type of potential.

Yawn. Just because the man is actively working to destroy America doesn't mean we need to resort to vague, insubstantial conspiracy theories to discredit him. :P
