Tim Hortons has reversed its decision to sponsor a Rhode Island rally held by a U.S. group that opposes same-sex marriage, after encountering fierce criticism for the move.
When Starbucks snubbed the canadian soldiers in Afganistan, Tim Hortons supported the soldiers. At least in that case, I'll give them some deserving credit.
I guess since all gay events will now be funded 100% by the Canadian goverment, there's no need for then to.
Why would American gay events be sponsored by the Canadian government?
I just assumed that the Harper government might feel so guilty that they would fund gay events, reguardless of where they were.
Nice save
And either way, I guess it's still a better headline than, "Tim Horton's backs gay marriage event."
Can you see them sponsoring such an event in Canada? I can't.
Looks like someone is giong to be losing their job. Not following company guidelines + Getting the company in hot water = Fired!
