I am so sick of hearing about this crap. You volunteer for it, you go where they send you. Now Canadian tax dollars are being spent on appeals and court proceedings, no doubt legal aid is funding the lawyers here also. Meanwhile the great work being done by our troops who are fighting and dieing in Afghanistan gets no coverage but this does.
Has anyone heard of CF members crossing into the US to avoid going overseas?

The lawyers are just doing their odious little jobs but the judges need to keep the big picture in mind. She's not a legitimate refugee.

OMFG, She deserted her fellow warriors while on leave??? And we're letting her stay here and be defended at great taxpayer expense.

Yeah and the NDP think they'll have a prayer getting Mr. coke dealer back to serve time here? Fat fuckin chance now.
Then again, that's nothing new. Canada has a "wonderful" history of protecting foreign criminals.
But then, she won't be getting the death penalty so we're letting her stay why again???

What on earth argument can one use not to send an American back home? That she will be tortured, she won't get due process?

What a laughing stock Canada must be around the world.
