BISMARCK, N.D. � A North Dakota college student looking for some extra spending money admits he made a "stupid" decision to smuggle nearly two dozen high-powered guns into Winnipeg.

Another example of the direct link between the drugs of organized crime and guns. We need to recognise that the 2 always go hand in hand.

For all the talk about increased border security and clapping down on organized crime I'm surprised the sentence wasn't longer, especially given the # of guns and length of time he was doing this for (not to mention selling the drugs in the states).
I'd say this young man got off lucky, he should be forced to meet with family members of people who have died as a result of his actions.
