TRIPOLI/LONDON -- Britain dismissed suggestions of a link between the Lockerbie bomber's release and energy deals with Libya on Saturday, after Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi embraced the man and thanked Britain for its help.
Mandelson said he had met Gaddafi's son twice in the past year and the issue of the Lockerbie bomber had been raised both times, but his release was not tied to business deals.
Yeah, and the moon is made of green cheese.
Just a coincidence that Shell and BP are right now negotiating oil deals with Libya.
I was listening to a radio interview of a mother of a victim and I agree with you. Even if this guy wasn't 100% the bomber, he was deep enough into the support to warrent his being killed.
Grr.
Yeah, and the moon is made of green cheese.
Just a coincidence that Shell and BP are right now negotiating oil deals with Libya.
