Prehistoric animals no longer exist. This is creating a new species. Man-made.

The likelyhood that the genetic codes of previous species are preserved in current DNA is, what, none.

He never labeled the thing he made as a Prehistoric animal. He labeled it a "first step" towards hatching them. Giving a already existance species features of prehistoric animals for scientific research purposes to research the specific of the species of those times.

Well if it's not genetically modified super-clones, or cyborgs controlled by a man-made super computer with ever growing AI, World War III, Terr'ists, Super Viruses that turn us into zombies, or an Astroid the size of Jupiter, or Myans raising from the dead in 2012 to kill us all, or the ice caps melting and flooding everything like Waterworld and us sleeping with the fishies..... see..... It'll be man made Dinosaurs who kill us all off.

Oh.... or Oprah becoming US President.

WOOOOOOOOOOOO..... Everybody look under your chairs, I got you your own red buttons connected to a nuclear missile each.

WOOOOOOOOO....... *waves around like a lunatic*

I'd go with the Scientists view on this. It may not be "Preserved", but the DNA of Dinos was probably the same construct as ours and because of that tweaking current DNA probably can bring them back. I know very little on this subject though.

Sounds to me like they're gonna try and remake an archaeopteryx.
