All Jack-o would have had to ask for in addition to "finacial help to seniors" and "make a greater effort to create jobs" is "world peace". Then he would have 100% passed for a pageant contestant. Miss South Carolina, maybe.

That's why Layton will never be the prime minister. The NPD is not a serious party, it is not meant to govern, it is there only to whine about the current governement in any way possible. Absolutely no goodwill to work together or judgement.

Layton has already "dumped" Harper. He's lucky Harper even allowed him to sit down for a chat.

I would have laughed my ass off had he called and asked for a meeting and immediately hung up.

That's an interesting survey with wonderful options to pick from.

"I don't care, I'm voting for the Bloc?"

Why the hell would that even be an option in the first place?

If Layton Dumps Harper? What exactly is "Dump" supposed to mean exactly?

Goodbye NDP and Liberals? Goodbye in what way? Less votes for them in the next election or the parties collapsing?

    Hello PM Iggy??

The "Survey" is a joke at best and is obviously skewed in a manner to reflect the NDP in a negative manner no matter what option someone selected.... and having the Bloc as one of only three options sure doesn't give the impression that this is a decent national poll in the first place.

And this is why these foolish little polls mean absolutely nothing.... if anybody wants real results and real facts of people's views, they'll rely on election results.

It was a courtesy meeting. Harper will meet with all the leaders. TweedleJack and TweedleGilles are going to vote to overthrow the government no matter what so Layton can give a Santa Claus list to Harper as long as his arm and it won't change a damned thing.

It's just a random on line poll so we all agree that it might not e accurate.. but it always seems to provoke a great response when it tweaks the nose of the Liberals. :D
The NDP needs to grow up and when they do, the'll start pulling in more votes from the Libs and greens.

Point here is Jack is wasting his time trying to get anything out of harper. You can't negotiate with a dictator autocrat.

How is Harper a dictator in anyway? Oh, unless you're bringing up the nazi card, cause all right-wingers are nazis, right?

Jack fired an MP for voting against SSM - I would call him a "dictator autocrat".

Just like all Bloc supporters are for child slavery and trafficing because they voted against bill C-268.
