Liberals promise no cuts to transfers if elected

Ask Harper. All Iggy has done is realize that the truth isn't going to get him elected. Unless the economy not only rebounds fast but has record growth we aren't getting out of the red without a tax hike or spending cut of some sort and like Bootlegga surmised the military is the likely candidate of any of the political parties.

I dont think Harper will screw the military over, whereas I think Iggy will decimate our military to pay down the deficit, plus god knows what else. Harper is waiting for oil and other commodities to rebound because that is where the real money will come from. In fact it was oil money disappearing that destroyed the budget.

Iggy is a war hawk so what do you base this on other then bias against the Liberals? Has Iggy said or done anything to suggest he wouldn't support the military unlike Harper who has already broken many key promises?

Sorry but anything Harper is waiting for is likely something Iggy can also base his belief about not needing to raise taxes.
