at 1:03 PM ETConspicuously missing from this report is any insight into why "Roger" was doing this. Are they kidnapping the monument? Is it a political action? One presumes not, as by his own admission, "getting into the political" gets you a "handful of shit". Perhaps the Mohawks are simply desperately short of obelisks, and this is an act of self-preservation. I for one do not wish our noble indigenous peoples to lead lives with a less-than-optimum number of obelisks in them. Let us immediately ship them a truckload of brand-new obelisks, complements of the Government of Canada. Maybe then they'd leave the ones with some historical value alone
