OTTAWA - An additional 15,800 troops are needed to properly secure Kandahar so that reconstruction efforts and training of the Afghan army can continue, says a conservative U.S. think-tank.

No mention of Obama's campaign plans of closing Iraq and moving the troops to Afghanistan?
Good comments of the Canadian position and the idea that we should examine NATO after is damned good.
