A Syrian man is awaiting a detention hearing in Vancouver after he was caught crossing the U.S.-Canada border with nearly $1 million in gold and several items that could link him to a listed terrorist organization.
His lawyer Phil Rankin, says his client just wanted to avoid paying taxes on the money. Does he think we are all stupid? Your client Phil, is a terrorist who was sent here to set up a cell. He is also a pilot, which certainly has ominous overtones re: 9/11. If he gets off, and the result is a terrorist attack on this country, then you are partially to blame Mr. Rankin. Lawyers!
