What the hell is going out there in the West?
The more west it is, the higher the gang count. From LA to Vancouver, it must be something in that pacific ocean.
Calgary, with 16 gang-related deaths, had the highest rate in the country, based on its population. Winnipeg, with 12 firearm homicides, and Edmonton, with 16, recorded the highest gun-related murder rates among the country's 10 biggest cities.
And how many more to go?

Yup, gang related issues as well as cultural issues of certain conflicts from others "homelands" (ie not our country) situating themselves to reignite their conflict here.
This again points to the issues when too many people start living in smaller and smaller spaces and cramming them in, people agitate and frenzy, (just like ameoba's) and this displaces others.
It is known both psychologically and in biology (physiology) and history always bears this out. Overcrowding and territorialism ends up the primal force. No jobs or pandering to immigrants is also one of the issues. I say one, but it is one.
I say send all people back to their own country who have an infraction the second time around, pronto. First time, o.k. might have been a whoops. But no chances after that. What the hell is the government doing many times letting these guys getting away with so much crap when they are a *guest* here? The money spent on these issues is mind staggering. Our energies and resources to uphold and build this country is expending enormous energies on this, when they could be focusing on fixing our own problems.

Here in Edmonton we don't get 'caught up with formalities! Four years is waaay too long. I think we have found a better way yet of dealing with immigrants who become 'known gang members'!
