PARIS - American screen icon Clint Eastwood was made a commander in France's prestigious Legion of Honour on Friday.

Napoleon Bonaparte created the legion in 1802. It recognizes military, cultural, scientific or social contributions to France, including those by people who are not French citizens.

Don't get all twisted there...he won't be going to Afghansitan anytime soon.. lol... its like an honorary degree from the University of your choice.
